Our beautiful baby boy, Remy, was brought here after going into heart failure following a brief anesthesia for his neuter. Remy has severe aortic stenosis, which we already knew carried risk, and the situation was terrifying. The doctors at North Haven were absolutely phenomenal and quite literally saved his life. They were able to stabilize him and get him out of heart failure, and today he is home recovering because of their expertise and care. I also want to specifically address the front desk staff, because I truly don’t understand some of the negative comments I’ve seen elsewhere. We worked closely with Zahn, who is absolutely amazing — incredibly positive, friendly, and compassionate. Every single front desk staff member we interacted with was kind, professional, and supportive duri
Dr. Harley quite literally saved my dog’s life, and the entire team at Central Veterinary Hospital supported us with extraordinary skill and compassion. In April of 2024, my dog became critically ill and was very close to death. Dr. Harley stepped in during that crisis and, through her knowledge, experience, and steady judgment, saved his life. He had been medically fragile since birth, and his case was complex. Despite that, Dr. Harley gave me another year and a half with him — time I will always be deeply grateful for. She approached his care with professionalism, compassion, and unwavering dedication. She never stopped thinking through the details or advocating for what was best for him. I also want to recognize the entire team at Central Veterinary Hospital. The ICU technicians were
I brought my dog to the hospital a little over a week ago because he was experiencing vomiting and diarrhea. The team was extremely thorough and detailed in their testing, and they were able to determine that he had colon cancer. They acted quickly and efficiently with the necessary treatment, while also making sure I understood each step of the process. Everyone I interacted with was compassionate, supportive, and knowledgeable, which gave me a lot of comfort during such a stressful time. I am very grateful for the care they provided to both my dog and me. Below are some picture of Mou you really wouldn't think he had surgery
Brought our kitty in for emergency treatment due to vomiting. These women were incredible! Sebastian was brought in immediately, evaluated and we were brought in to speak to Dr. Hafemann who explained everything in detail. If we're ever faced with another emergency, I will definitely bring my sweet boy back to them, if his regular vet isn't available. Thank you for being so kind and caring to both of us.
After a week and 3 trips to our veterinary clinic, Dr Ostrover ran bloodwork on Maddie, which showed elevated amylase indicating pancreatitis. He tried to do an ultrasound and X-rays but Maddie was uncomfortable so the ultrasound wasn’t as good as he hoped. He did see two spots on his kidney and liquid in his chest and abdomen. He sent us to Central to have the liquid drained so we could start treatment on his pancreatitis and possible biopsy on the masses in his kidney. Unfortunately, when Dr Sherman with Central came in, she said it was cancer and sadly no amount of treatment could heal Maddie. She was so compassionate and helped us make the most difficult decision for our beloved 3 year old Aussie. She brought him a bowl of water and some chicken and we spent some time saying good
