Vetco Total Care Animal Hospital

Vetco in Middletown is one of the best vet hospitals that we have taken our dog to. Dr Wells is very caring and she helped my dog when other vets could not. She even follows up with a text regarding her treatment plan! Also, Matt, the vet tech went above and beyond for our dog. He made sure we received her antibiotics ASAP. Matt is an asset to Vetco for sure! It’s very easy to schedule same day appointments online, which I couldn’t do with our previous vet.

Always able to get an appointment when needed. The Receptionist is top notch. She loves all animals and it shows. The Veterinarian and Vet Tech was very good with my old girl Dottie. The whole Vetco Team is great.

If I could give ZERO STARS I WOULD On this day, they were completely busy and my appointment for my furbaby was pushed back after waiting for over an hour. I ended up looking around so my furbaby could watch the birds and bought about $150 worth of his shampoos,dental cleaner and such. 30 more minutes passed, we were able to sit INSIDE of the franchise to wait with him. We were finally seen and this visit was very rushed in my opinion. The nurse came in and gave a brief overview of my concerns. Once the doctor came in the visit now seemed rushed ! No one washed their hands or changed gloves ( again it was very busy and I heard them going from one patient to the next). Overall , the building was dirty, pet snacks all over the floor had other fur, nothing wiped down or maintained for the p

Had an excellent experience yesterday at this location since our MD clinic is closed on Sunday’s . I called and was immediately able to get a same day appointment with no hassle after explaining his symptoms. Each person from the front desk, vet tech, and vet were all extremely welcoming, thorough, and attentive. The only down side is that we traveled over an hour but it was well worth it. Thank you to the team that treated my Shadow! Additionally, the Petco cashier was very friendly and engaging with Shadow. From the moment we walked in until we left everyone was great!

Excellent staff, hospitable, animal lovers and pleasant waiting experience. Clean environment and fast and efficient service! I loved that before prescriptions and suggested treatment plans, they discuss with you your financial and treatment options. Very helpful in budgeting for an impromptu visit. They have same and next day appointments. Ahhhhmazing experience overall!
