Middletown Veterinary Hospital Grooming Salon

I recently took my black golden lab to Middletown Vet for a grooming appointment. This was my first time working with a groomer and my puppy’s first time getting groomed. Our groomer’s name was Autumn. She was very thorough while booking the appointment by making sure all of my wants would be met and any concerns I had would be addressed. My puppy loved Autumn and she said he was well behaved, which is all I can ask for as a fur parent! Autumn cleaned my puppy’s ears, trimmed his nails, and used products that would best support his skin/coat. She also was able to give my puppy his annual rabies vaccine during his appointment as well. The person working the front desk was also very kind and helpful! Overall, including tip and my puppy’s rabies vaccine, the total price was VERY reasonable

On February 3, our sweet girl had broken her leg We had rushed her to the vet where their overnight team rushed into action not only did they make her comfortable they calmed me down because I was a nervous wreck. They helped me come up with a plan to get our sweet girl back to normal they were very thorough with their evaluation and treatment plan we decided to cast her leg to try to save it for about a month and a half. Over that time we became very close with the staff (Kayla , Jay, Montana, Leeann, genna, Courtney, Heather, lilli, and everyone else that I may not have grabbed their name but after that month and a half, Dr. Johnny was very upfront and honest with us that it would be in mocha‘s best interest to go ahead and amputate So we did a

When I arrived to have my dog groomed, I was looking forward to it. I always take my dog here and he is taken care of. This time, a new employee was going to groom him but within 20 to 30 minutes she called my phone saying that he is too aggressive. This was very disappointing and was an absolute inconvenience. They need to realize that people make an effort to be there. We have to travel a far distance to get there and time as well as money is wasted when they decide to give up so easily. If a new employee cannot handle the job, I feel that another employee that is not new should step in to help. She quickly came to the conclusion that she couldn’t do it. I have been using MVH for grooming,for my vet care ,rehab, everything and I love them all. Lauren is an amazing groomer, all of my furbabies have looked great and she is very caring with them . 5 stars

Every year I get more and more disappointed with the service and overall lack of concern or consideration for me as a customer. I have literally been taking my dogs there since 2012. My dogs are aging and require to be at a vet for grooming. They were unable to groom my one dog sufficiently and the price is always changing. They are making the policies up as they go along. very upset at the crazy cost for 2 aging dogs and a yorkie that they NEVER give a yorkie cut to. The last time they refused my one dog altogether because he was having an issue and the time before that was the condition I picked them up in after boarding them there. Maybe I need to lower my expetation that my dogs that are 14 would not have to be treated like a younger dog and made to stand through a grooming to the poin
