Middletown Veterinary Hospital

We have been coming to Middletown Vet for over 20 years. Amazing staff and top notch care for all of our fur babies past and present. Very affordable they price match which is such a big help at times. Would definitely recommend them to anyone!!

After reading some of the comments, I want to say I truly feel for anyone who had a bad experience or outcome. When it comes to our pets—the ones we love like family—any medical issue can be stressful and emotional. I had recently been switching vets and, after reading reviews, I was honestly on the fence and almost canceled my appointment. Middletown Vet came highly recommended, but I was nervous. What stopped me was knowing my dog, Petey, had one infected tooth that clearly needed attention. Originally, the plan was to pull just that one tooth and nothing else. After spending time talking with Ashley—who was incredibly patient and thorough—I decided it made sense to also do a full teeth cleaning and X-rays so we could really see what was going on with him. So happy to say that I’m officially done going to Middletown Vet. I wouldn’t say any experience I’ve had with them was 5 stars, but this last one by far took the cake. I dropped my dog off at the scheduled time, to which the door was locked and they weren’t expecting him. I was told this was due to a new system. After checking Jack in, they asked if he wanted his annual shots, which was the reason for the appointment. I added a sedated grooming figuring while he is in there... Not only did he not come back brushed, he came back partially wet (grooming cost $150). This was after they were unable to find him for over 20 minutes. The girl had to check 4x before finding my dog when I came back to pick him up. They did not give me the prescriptions the Dr ordered, so I had to come back to pick

I was mad worried about my cat Simba throwing up a lot and they helped me understand the possible causes and didn’t give up on trying to find the best solution. What I also love about them is that you can be in the room while they examine your pet, which makes me feel super comfortable. They have reasonable prices too. I’m super grateful for all the staff there!

While unfortunately we only had one visit and our baby has since passed. I can tell you they are amazing to work with even in the worst situation. Our baby was not well and they took the time to test her and explain the situation. They had compassion and I could feel they cared about how our baby was feeling. They made her comfortable and helped us find a specialist to deep dive into our babies health, even called ahead to let them know we were coming in for urgent ultrasound. We appreciate all their support and kindness
