K-9 Capers Dog Training Academy

Donna and her staff have been wonderful in teaching me how to train my new puppy. The techniques work! It is evident everyone on the staff really cares about the health, safety and well-being of dogs. My puppy is well behaved, well socialized and well adjusted to most environments. I'm so glad I found this place when I did. We love K-9 Capers!

Donna is a godsend! She trained our first dog and helped him overcome social anxiety that prevented us from taking him out in public. Now we're in training with our second dog for similar issues. Donna is flexible and genuine! She really cares about training your dog to be the best version of itself and has given us hope to have a more active lifestyle with our dogs.

The sessions are very thorough and I felt that I had a lot of support from Donna. Even when I brought discussed re-homing my dog, I did not feel judged or shamed. I highly recommend this business if you are in the Concord or surrounding areas.

We went in for training with our dog who needed some training with a new baby. Our dog has been good with our baby but we wanted to make sure her anxiety and old training wouldn’t go out the window with a new person in the house. We weren’t even in our training session for five minutes when the trainer asked if we are set on keeping the dog and said her “first recommendation was to re-home” our dog. Awful. Our dog is good. Was behaving well for the five minutes we were there. That should NEVER be the first thought unless someone is in danger or there is history of violence or biting which there never was. Highly disappointed.

Very friendly and informative. Classes begin on time and there is ample parking. There is grassy real estate to exercise your pet. All of the owners and their pets were friendly and engaging. Nice experience.
