We had such a wonderful experience! The doctors truly go above and beyond to squeeze us in whenever my pet isn’t feeling well, which means so much during stressful times. They take the time to thoroughly explain why certain tests are necessary to properly diagnose what’s going on — just like in human medicine, you can’t treat something accurately without the right information. After running the appropriate tests, we received the right medication, and my pet was back to her normal, happy self within just a few days. Dr. Aziz and Dr. Um are exceptional veterinarians, and the entire nursing staff is just as amazing. Everyone was compassionate, attentive, and genuinely caring. I’m so grateful for the excellent care they provided to my pet. Highly recommend!

I recently switched from the Alexandria location to the Bethesda location, and the difference has been night and day. At the previous location, I rarely got to see my dog’s actual vet, and after appointments he sometimes came back looking messy, to the point that I had to clean him up myself. At the Bethesda location, the experience has been completely different. The veterinarian was very professional, attentive, and truly took the time to talk with me. Doctor Aziz is the best. He walked me through all of my dog’s lab results, explained the medications he will be taking, and answered all of my questions patiently. I felt respected and included in my dog’s care. The clinic is well organized, not overly crowded with too much appointments, and the staff seems genuinely present and caring. I

Truly the best!! We took our puppy for his first ever visit and the staff was just wonderful. You can see how much they care for you and your pet, it’s not just business. Renata and Dr. Azizi are wonderful at what they do. And their front desk ladies are dedicated to exceptional customer service. Highly recommend Banfield at Bethesda!

What a great place. Everyone is so super friendly and thoughtful and down to earth. They always answer the phone when I’ve called. They made my dog feel so loved and well taken care of and made me feel like a valued customer. The reception gal was so helpful and engaging; Vet-tech good energy; Vet was so personable and genuinely nice. 10/10!

Outstanding care for my senior dog, Jacob. Everyone — from the receptionist to the manager and doctor — was kind and genuinely caring. The plan they made was thoughtful and really focused on improving his quality of life and I am so grateful. Huge thanks to Renata for running such a wonderful clinic!
