Small Door Veterinary - Bethesda

Small door is wonderful and comforting! I adopted a new black kitten I call Tenebrae (latin for darkness) from a shelter recently and I decided to switch to Small Door for my veterinarian services. He is now 3 months old. I appreciate small door being a less crowded waiting area with time devoted just to my little guy. They also provide water in the waiting room which is lovely. The staff were thoughtful enough to give my boy toys and fun things since he was still a baby on his first visit. When he had tummy troubles they were so thoughtful to help me adjust his diet. Dr. Heidi and Nicole were so amazing. I wish I got the name of the lady at the front desk because she was a delight too. They took amazing care of my dog and I couldn’t be more pleased. The app they offer is also great to schedule appts and to communicate easily with the office. Me & my dog left happy 😊

We had such a wonderful experience at here for my dog’s dental cleaning. From start to finish, the entire team was incredibly kind, reassuring, and attentive. They did the bloodwork in the room with me so I was there for the whole process, which as the mom of a very anxious dog, this made all the difference in the world. Anytime my dog goes under anesthesia I am a nervous wreck, but they made the process feel calm and well organized and kept me informed every step of the way. They even sent me pictures to keep me updated through the day and sent him home with a "certificate of bravery" diploma which was the cutest thing. We have taken our English toy spaniel （sea bass) here for vet services for about 2 years since we first got him as a puppy. We are so impressed by the service and also the infrastructure. Everyone we meet at the wildwood location loves their work, from the kind lady who always greets us with the biggest smile when we enter, to the awesome vets and the assistants. The icing on the cake is that it’s super easy to book an appointment via the app, and all the notes, appointment visits, reminders, follow up care referrals, etc are all neatly organized in the app. Oh and did I mention that the space is beautiful and they provide sparkling water when you’re waiting .

I’ve had my furry daughter for almost a year now, and it was my first time taking her to the veterinarian. The staff was incredibly sweet, caring, and patient with an anxious mama. I couldn’t have found a better facility for my Lady Mia.
