West Hills Veterinary Centre

Well today was the day. After bringing my pets to West Hills for the past 35 years and my parents bringing our dogs well before then, I am officially done. Brought my dog in for a routine annual exam and vaccinations. She has been on heartworm and flea and tick preventative for 7 years now. Asked about a special that was running last year on medication, trying to save a few dollars. Assistant left to bring me an estimate, so I wouldn’t have any surprises. Doctor came in and told me about a yearly vaccine. Showed me how much of a better deal that it was and showed me a total. I asked 3 times if that would be everything for today? Was told all 3, yes. Agreed on the shots even though it was more than I expected. Went to pay my bill and it was double. I asked the vet what she thought I meant b

Melody - pet whisperer and dynamic groomer makes me little boy feel welcomed and excited for his bath and ‘haircut.’ She is great always asking how I want him groomed. Not to mention, he eagerly swaps arms as she makes him feel safe and secure. If looking for a groomer, I would recommend!

Professional staff, answered all questions about a new puppy visit. Very understanding about how many general questions I had. Got the dog neutered here too and very reasonable prices. They also have sales!

I have been with this vet for many years. In the past, they have looked at my guinea pig but more recently, they look after my dogs and cats. Dr. Ragle is a warm and caring veterinarian. I love her. She is playful with the pets when she needs to be and will talk honestly with you on more serious matters. I have dealt with her on both good times and sad times.
