Veterinary Medical Center of Harlingen

10/10, definitely recommend! I recently switched vets. Which was very scary for me because I also work in the animal industry and I know how hectic it can be. I have two dogs, a 13 yr old mutt and a 9 yr old whippet. One can be a bit spicy and one is a nervous nelly. I learned that my closest friend is a vet tech there and knew my dogs would be in safe hands with her (Thanks Morgan!) so I started going here. The few techs I've talked with (Morgan, Gabby & Kat I think) have been AMAZING with my pets, actually talking to my dogs and petting them instead of diving right in. My dogs aren't as nervous as they usually are, and everyone has been really kind and willing to answer my 87 questions each time. (Sorry for being a helicopter dog mom, trust me they annoy me too and somehow I am one) The

Amazing veterinary clinic! I’m usually extremely critical when it comes to doctors and vets, but they exceeded my expectations. They are super personable. Very nice, and go out of their way to make sure you’re comfortable. Most importantly they are extremely knowledgeable! I went to a different vet 3 times for them to “guess” my cats symptoms. 5 mins in my first visit here, and they were able to accurately diagnose my baby. I was recommended here by my sister, and I’ve already recommended this location to the rest of my family and some friends.

Great staff!! So glad new vet in Harlingen that does more than wellness. We have seven dogs and five cats so you can imagine we have dreaded the vet visits. But I have to say this was a good visit from the initial call, to the doctor visit, it was a good experience. In the past, I felt like I was being offered and charged services that maybe my pet didn’t need. Not this time, the doctor gave me options and let me decide. When I saw the estimate, I was automatically put at ease. I took Shelby in this time, and she can be “spicy”. They understood and didn’t make me feel as though I had an out of control situation. I want to thank the staff and let them know they have 12 new patients in Harlingen!!!!

Had the absolute best experience today with my hamster Biscuit! 🐹🩷 the staff was so friendly and welcoming, and the Dr. was amazing! Glad I found a place that treats small babies too🩷 will be switching my dogs over here asap🥰

This is a great practice. We are traveling and needed to get our senior dog in for his Librela treatment. The staff were very accommodating. The doc also addressed an issue with arthritis in his lower spine offering alternative treatments to reduce inflammation and increase mobility. Everyone I came in contact with were helpful, cheerful and you could tell they really cared for their clients. Overall an exceptional experience.
