Vetco Vaccination Clinic

So far all has been great at the clinic with our new puppy Daisy🐾 The Dr. and all vet techs and receptionists have been welcoming , answering all questions we have asked, and treated our little puppy with TLC. The pricing for services has been very fair as well. We feel fortunate to have access to this wonderful Vaccine Clinic in our East Longmeadow Petco!

The process to check in was pretty quick. I don't like that they take your puppy and you have to wait outside the room while the give him his shots, then I went to pay and they didn't give me a print out of what they even gave him for vaccinations, I had to ask at the register at which at that point the cashier went and got the vet who came out to tell me what she had given my puppy, they said it would be emailed, which it was but that was annoying .

Had a 10:30 appointment but my dog wasn’t seen until 11:45. Waited in line just to check in for 35 minutes!! My dog was so anxious and it was so difficult keeping him calm surrounded by so many people and pets waiting. They clearly over-booked themselves and couldn’t keep up. There was no point having an appointment. Need a better system.

Terrible service. My cat was supposed to get chipped a month ago. The vet first said she couldn’t do it because of his behavior and to wait it out until he had his rabies shots in the event he DOES bite, second appointment she couldn’t do it because he was “hissing at her” and told me to switch his carrier to a more easier one for her. Why that was not Mentioned to me his first appointment when she couldn’t chip him is beyond me. Now I have to go back for the fourth and final time to see another vet technician so she doesn’t have to chip him is insane. They talked about how they couldn’t give him shots the first time because he was “stressed” but wants me to lug my poor kitty out for 4 different appointments and one of them she won’t even be present for. SMH. Never again. I don’t understan

I often find here confusion and unorganized people work in this Vetco. The check in person wanted a number she needed to bring up the records so I am searching for awhile and then she tells me it was a phone number that was needed. I said why did you not tell me that. I recently went to get my dog's prescription and waited over an hour and then on top of the wait the check in person wanted me to go to the end of the wait line. Needless to say, I went behind the person that was in front of me. I am wondering where all the brains are.
