Porter Rd Pet Care has been my go-to for the last few years and my dog loves it there. He doesn’t even look back once he’s handed off, he gets excited to see the staff and his grooming has always been wonderful. Their services are super reasonable for the quality of care given. I’m moving and won’t be able to use them anymore but I would recommend them to anyone in the area needing pet boarding or grooming for their pet!

We are so happy we found Porter Road Pet Care! We just got back from a week trip and sent our 2 year old GSD here. He gets nervous around others at first and needs a little time to trust and they did so well with him! I could see how happy he was in their updates and when we picked him up. He played with other dogs at his stay there and was sleeping nice and cozy when we picked him up! This place helped me relax on our trip. And I can't wait to send him here again!

We left our two pups at Porter Road for the first time this past week, they were boarded together and we had web cam access. We were traveling internationally and checked in on the cameras as sometimes one of our pups can get anxious. The entire time both of them seemed happy and well taken care of. The room they were in was always clean, even with one of them being a puppy who definitely had accidents! They had extra play time with other pups, and had their nails clipped as well. We are very happy with the care our dogs received as well as the check in and check out process - everyone was super nice (even with me being overly cautious about one of our pups, a great pyr, who might try and escape)! Will definitely use them again.

I brought my cock a poo to Porter Rd. Pet Care To be groomed, his 1st time there. They were friendly, caring, and informative. Kim the groomer did a beautiful job with him. The price was very reasonable. We will be back.

The staff was so friendly, and I truly appreciated how kind everyone was in person. However, the communication was almost nonexistent, and unfortunately that became a serious issue for me. Every time I came in to pick up my dog, she was injured in some way — and no one could explain how it happened. I repeatedly asked for her nails not to be cut because they were being trimmed too short and she would bleed. Despite asking multiple times, her nails were still cut at every visit. She was still bleeding. On more than one occasion, I had to grab paper towels and warm water myself to apply pressure and stop the bleeding. The second to last time I visited, her lip was busted open. The last time, her tooth was broken. Again — no explanation, no incident report, no proactive communication. That wa
