I noticed my baby was squatting to pee several times and nothing coming out, so had a feeling that she may have a UTI. Googled emergency vet near me and Urgent Vet showed in The Villages. Called them to advise of Chloe's condition and asked about walkin ins which they accept. Headed their way and the wait to be seen was about 30 min. Nurse and Vet was wonderful with Chloe and very caring. As a dog mom, was relieved that they could examine her to determine definitely a UTI. Vet prescribed anitibiotics and she was on her way to feeling better hopefully soon. Please do not hesitate to take your fur babies here if ever need immediate care.

This is the second time I have been here, with two different dogs. The professionalism and care here is immeasurable. I am recommending this urgent care vet to everyone I know. It’s a great added bonus that you make the appointment online and don’t have to wait long. I am so incredibly grateful for the great care given to my two sweet dogs. The fact that they gave my dog “the sweetest face”, award brightened my day too. lol

We’ve used Urgent Vet 2x for Yogi, our little Pomapoo. We’ve been very impressed with their service. Both doctors were very thorough, spent lots of time answering our questions and concerns. We left confident that the diagnosis and treatment was right on. And our little baby quickly recovered. ❤️

On the evening of Monday, November 17, at approximately 8:25 PM, our dog Mikey passed away in his sleep. I wanted to have Mikey cremated. A good friend came over and suggested Urgent Vet. Mikey was wrapped in his favorite blanket and we drove there. A young women met us and escorted me to a quiet room to where I continued holding Mikey. The young staff member told me to take as long as I needed. I was there about an hour. I looked at his sleeping face..,I cried, I hugged, I talked, I smiled, I laughed, and I kissed him repeatedly. When I was ready, I passed Mikey to a staff member. The staff were very kind and compassionate to me and their handling of Mikey. After having a terrible experience while getting my greenwing macaws nails clipped at the Market of Marion which resulted in the quick cut badly and her one nail bleeding consistently for an hour and a half, despite applying pressure, a flour/cornstarch mix, and even some quick stop gel. I called several vet offices in Ocala and everyone quickly told me they couldn't help me. I finally broadened my search area and as soon as I explained my situation to them they told me that they'd help, even though they don't normally treat birds, but the quick being clipped is an issue they're used to working with.
