NorAust

I am baffled by the Jennifer Keenan's one-star-review. Jennifer knows her dog is too aggressive with livestock. So even though livestock is at risk of injury or worse, Jennifer Keenan expects NorAust to risk injury or worse to their livestock. NorAust continues to maintain high quality services and their agility competitions are very popular. We always compete at NorAust Agility Trials .

We went to NorAust for the first time for a Fetch trial. It was fantastic. Well organized, friendly and helpful staff. Plenty of room for parking and walking. The ring was well maintained and did I mention the staff? They were phenomenal. They took a moment to talk with me about my dogs, about training, about caring for them. My dogs earned a Fetch title that day, but more importantly we found a place where teams are supported and guided toward success! See you again soon!

I have known the owner for many years. Having a herding breed myself she is the first person I go to for information on any issues I encounter that I cannot solve with my own knowledge. I trust her judgement completely. I would also refer anyone I know local to her for information or any kind of training.

I regret ever making this phone call. I truly wish i had not. After a brief discussion with this lady- she quickly determined that because my dog is half border collie and half marema sheepdog. Telling me that no one would work with my dog who has livestock. Not giving one resource or one idea of who i could reach out to in the area that would be able to work with this dog- not one ounce of helpful information when i reached out in a concerning situation. Never would I trust someone like this with one of my dogs ever again.

Cindy is a good herding instructor who is patient and very knowledgeable. I have been going there for the past 6 years. Cindy and her facility are fantastic.
