I brought both of my babies here over the course of several years for surgery, treatments and exams. Dr. Long isn’t the most welcoming or compassionate vet, neither is her staff. There was one or two receptions/assistants that were okay, though. Rosie being one of them. My Rotti was scheduled for eyelid surgery, for which I paid in advance. The day we arrived for surgery, the receptionist charged me additionally for sedation for larger dogs. From my understanding that was included in the original invoice, but they “mistakenly” left out that fee until the day of. So I paid that undisclosed fee, also I purchased a nail clipping for my girl while she was sedated, since she had really thick nails. The surgery went well, however she didn’t receive a full nail clipping, but to like one nail. S

💡 Dr. Long is the nicest and kindest veterinarian my dog has ever had! So helpful. She made sure all my questions were answered and even put in a lot of work to help with my dog’s prescriptions. I’m so glad I’ve found this place. This is my new veterinarian home! Thanks DR. LONG! I’ll definitely be back 🐶

I am heartbroken to be writing this, but I feel a responsibility to share our experience. I had been coming to this clinic for years and trusted Dr. Long with my dog’s care. Unfortunately, over time I noticed a decline in attentiveness, compassion, and attention to detail. That decline became painfully clear during my dog’s final days. After my dog hit a pole and developed severe eye swelling, Dr. Long referred us to a specialist due to internal bleeding, which I understood. However, shortly after, I brought him back because I was deeply concerned about additional symptoms—labored breathing and abdominal swelling. I was told he was “fine.” I pushed for further evaluation, at which point Dr. Long reluctantly said, “Fine, you want an X-ray?”—a response that made me feel like an inconvenie

Everyone at Roxford showed us so much love and compassion when we had to bring our 15 year old dog in to be euthanized. It was the hardest thing I've ever had to do in my life but I was comforted by how caring everyone was. They went above and beyond for our family during this heartbreak and we will never forget the kindness they showed us. Will forever be bringing our babies to Roxford 💙

The doctor and staff are friendly and caring. I take my two cats and three dogs for their regular checkups, maintenance visits, teeth cleanings, nail trimming, immunizations, and urgent care. The prices are affordable compared to other vets in the area and I don’t mind putting down a deposit to schedule because I know they’re in high demand. The doctor has helped a lot with one of our dogs that’s special needs and has a lot of urgent care visits. They also take my Care Credit which helps.
