PriorityPet Urgent Care

We’ve had some masses of melanoma removed from our beloved 14 year old pup (Boomer) and a new one that presented itself was in a very inconvenient area. Behind his top, back teeth, an oral tumor was causing him discomfort in an otherwise stable dog. The care of Billy and the Priority Pet team truly touched our hearts. Their efforts, without a doubt, have bought us more time with Boomer and we can’t thank them enough. They got us in very quickly and really made the difference when it mattered. Very grateful for their expertise.

Brought our dog in after he ate dark chocolate and was met with staff that didn’t show much communication or urgency at all. After asking for all the details, just had us call poison control in the lobby (where we had to explain the details again). We ended up waiting over an hour where we just sat in the lobby with our dog. they told us they couldn’t help and that we had to go to the larger ER pet hospital, then gave Anti-nausea medication so our dog wouldn’t “puke in the car”. It ended up causing some additional complications since the hospital said we should’ve just made him puke it up as quickly as possible. TLDR: bad communication, didn’t show urgency, ended up causing more complications. Wouldn’t recommend.

I've taken my dogs for two illnesses since they've opened as my regular vet couldn't get to them for several days. They were curteous and thorough and not terribly expensive. I would recommend.

I called a few weeks ago to ask about prices and Brandy answered the phone. I told her about my 15 year old chihuahua not wanting to play or eat like she usually does also asked if they can trim her nails. And she told me it was 110 for the exam but if I choose to euthanize it was 60. I am appalled that she would jump start to euthanize my dog. I ended up taking my dog to Urgent Vet on Wedgewood lane. And euthanasia was never brought up. I will never take my any of my dogs to Priority Pet that one phone call turned me off from this place forever.
