First State Urgent Vet - Newark

Everyone here was extremely kind and helpful with my previous corgi and I appreciate their dedication and attention to detail. They were able to see us almost instantly and were very reasonable in their prices. Dr. Weaver was so nice to my corgi and I know she appreciates that as well.

The WHOLE team here is amazing, they’ve taken great care of two pets (dog and cat) that I’ve had to bring in recently. They saved my cat’s life and I’m so grateful for how much they genuinely cared for him. I wish I could use this place as my regular vet- that’s how comfortable I am with them now. Hopefully none of my pets get sick or hurt again anytime soon but if so I know they are in great hands here. They will take care of your pets (family members) just like their own. Thank you to everyone at this practice for their care and support, if I could give them a thousand stars I would.

We are incredibly grateful to First State Urgent Vet for the care they gave our dog during such a difficult time. We had to bring him in after he suddenly took a turn for the worse, and from the front desk staff to the technicians and the veterinarian, everyone was kind, compassionate, and professional. They took the time to clearly explain the entire process and what we could expect, which meant so much to us. Although we ultimately had to make a very hard decision, the team supported us with genuine care and empathy every step of the way. We truly appreciate everything they did for our family. Thank you.

Every person in this facility from front desk to everyone in the back were so nice and helpful. They took our concerns seriously, listened to us and answered all questions we had. I will be recommending this Urgent care vet facility to all my friends and family! Side note the facility was very clean and welcoming!

Brought my cat to this facility in November due to him straining while trying to pee. This place is amazing! I called ahead and got him checked in. Upon arrival, they quickly took him to the back without a wait. I believe the entire process from start to finish took about an hour. They were very transparent, kept me updated frequently, and let me know all my options up front including the price ranges depending on treatment. There was no surprises when it came to billing. They also made sure my baby was comfortable the entire time. I'll be sure to return if I ever have any problems in the future. Thank you for such great care. You probably saved my cats life that day.
