I had fostered a puppy and she seemed fine at first then she started being lethargic and also had bloody stools so I contacted them and they just stated I would not be able to see her no more so I had to “surrender” her. When I called back to check on her they passed me to a rude male person the “manager” and he stated he could not give me any information about her condition. The second puppy I fostered she was perfectly healthy but then she started having mucus discharge from her nose so I called them to see if the vet can check her and the female staff stated yes. The day I took her the female “manager” comes out and states if the vet sees her I’m “surrendering” her and seemed rude and upset that I wanted the vet to check her mind you in front of other customers she was talking me so u

If you rent, make sure you have landlord on speed dial you can’t adopt without their permission. Also the white complicated lady who shows the animals is rude. Yelled DONT TOUCH ANIMALS.im sorry we are new to this and didn’t know the process.

I've made over 100 pet beds for this location. Today I went in begging for help but because im "out of their area" I was declined. ALL MY NEXT BED EFFORTS WILL GO TO CAMERON COUNTY. Tell your animals why, please.

My son,a committed and rule-following student, was at this facility to complete his assigned hours. While there,a supervisor sent him home after briefly seeing him play with kittens and at one time using his phone. The reason my son’s presence was a ticket for a faulty break light on a truck he had to drive due to a family emergency ( our other vehicle was damaged in March 2025 storm). When I spoke to the supervisor about why my son was dismissed,his response was,” Oh yeah I sent a lot of them home.” This attitude is concerning and shows a failure to take the program seriously which impacts the young people trying to fulfill their requirements.This experience was frustrating for our family and I hope the organization will address the unprofessional behavior of its supervisors.
