Zen Dog Spa

I dropped my dog off at zen dog spa for grooming appointment at 10:30am He only was ready by 6:30pm 8 hours later! His 13 pounds toy poodle! after I called them few time to check on him I been told he was very dirty and it will take longer. the hair cut is not as I asked and he look uneven. but it’s not even the Worst part he also came back with his right eye half closed I was trying to call the lady at the dog spa right as I noticed 5 min after I we got him home. I wanted to ask her what happened to him but no response. I left 3 messages and no response. now it’s the morning later I need to take him to the emergency vet because it’s Sunday. and his right eye is completely closed and he can’t open it. I really hope it’s treatable. I’m very disappointed and upset.

Had a great experience with our black lab / spaniel mix at Zen Dog Spa on Long Prairie Rd in Flower Mound. He came back well bathed, hair cut, nails cut, teeth brushed, ears cleaned, and glands expelled. They were quick and super friendly. Check their website for pricing. Highly recommend. This was my second experience with grooming, and I’m so glad I did my research this time. Ariel was absolutely fantastic. I could tell right away she was very kind and has great compassion for animals. In the few minutes meeting her before the appointment, I felt very secure and comfortable handing over my baby (which is never easy). She was very quick and efficient and his cut turned out exactly how I wanted, and I know a poodle puppy is not easy to groom lol. A few days later she also groomed my mom’s puppy (who is an extremely nervous thing around strangers), and besides the fact he looked great as well, it was clear he was made comfortable during the entire process. I don’t recommend Zendog mobile spa to any pet lover’s, read below to know why. Asked to give an evenly cut haircut on the body/face and legs, but what my puppy received was an uneven hair length, choppy with lots of lines all over. We are very disappointed and it’s an unpleasant experience. Now I need to find someone to fix the mess.
