Dallas Parrots is the best place for bird lovers! We got our Green Cheek Conure from Dallas Parrots, and it was an amazing experience from start to finish. The staff truly care about their birds—they’re knowledgeable, patient, and always willing to answer questions, even long after you bring your feathered friend home. Our conure is healthy, social, and full of personality, which says so much about how well these birds are raised and cared for before they go to new homes. We still come back regularly for his food and treats, and the quality is always excellent. It’s clear they love what they do and take pride in helping every customer find the right bird and provide the best care possible. Last week, my daughter and I purchased a parrot from this facility for $1,700. Unfortunately, once we brought her home, it became clear that the bird required more time than anticipated, and our dog and the bird were not able to coexist safely. Despite our best efforts over five days, the situation became chaotic and stressful for everyone involved. We contacted the facility to return the bird today. While they did agree to take her back, they refused to offer any refund at all. I understand that a full refund may not have been appropriate since the issue was on our end, not theirs. However, I expected a more reasonable compromise from a business that was recommended to us as reputable. I’m sharing this experience so others are aware of the return policy and can make an informed decision.

He was so knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely cared about ensuring we were fully prepared to welcome our new feathered baby.
