Westgate Animal Hospital Inc

Westgate was amazing for my 2 pups most recent visit. The receptionist (Lilly) was very helpful checking us in and when I told her my senior dog had an accident in the car she got me supplies to clean it up. Even gave my 3 year old daughter stickers! All the recipients were so sweet and said hi when they saw us. Ashten and Jenna the techs were so gentle and friendly with my pups. They even offered to trim my younger dogs nails and got a mat out of his paw for me. Dr Bauer was great at explaining everything and was so gentle with both dogs. I really enjoy the days I get to bring my pups to Westgate. All around an amazing experience!

They're very friendly and take good care of my animals and have good communication. One time when bringing my pup into the vet they were traffic controlling the pups in the area for an aggressive dog and they kept not only the aggressive pup a comfortable distance from other dogs but communicated to me and other pet owners what was going on.

I love the pet care at Westgate, we've been taking our dogs here for a couple of years now and the care has been thoughtful and clear every time. However the front desk is always an awkward and not enjoyable experience. They are busy, and that's totally understandable, but they never communicate what you should be doing, whether they know that you exist. They never say "we'll be with you in a couple minutes", and they barely tell you what to do while you wait for prescriptions and things like that. When there aren't that many people they might mention it if you go up and ask, but when there are a lot of people I truly have been in the situation of not knowing if I should just leave. It's very odd for a place that otherwise has great services.

I've only just walked in with my pup and started the process of getting her to be a patient there, but we already love it! My dog, Tillie, got lots of pets and greetings from multiple employees, got treats, and even a toy (I don't think that's an aways thing, but it was cool regardless). We even got a compliment on the bandana I made her 🥰🐾 We're so excited to have our first appointment there in the future.

I’ve only been to this vet since I’ve gotten my cat, Willow, and it will continue to be the only one I go to. The staff, both the Doctors and front desk staff, are extremely kind and attentive. They answer every single question I have with compassion and knowledge. My cat has had a very rough month and they, in my opinion, are the reason she is still with me today. They always have found room in their schedule for her and even let me bring her in early when I was worried she wouldn’t make it. Thank you to everyone at Westgate from me and Willow! 🐱
