110% recommend this place for everyone. They're care and compassion for my pup and their pricing has been the best that I have found here in Rockingham County in the 2 years I have been here. I showed up as a walk-in. They had me in, my dog treated, and out in an hour and they were busy. Their care and compassion was heartfelt. The way they spoke to me, with kindness and grace, hearing what I said. I cannot even begin to explain how amazing it felt. My Slovakian German Shepherd cut the pad of one of her paws. She was bleeding with every step she took. They didn't care. She was important, not the blood trail she was leaving in her wake. I especially love that they used honey as a healing agent. While traveling my fur baby wasn’t feeling well. Called around to other Vets and their prices were extremely high. Called Wentworth Animal Hospital and spoke to a staff member, she informed me they had walk-in hours and their appointment cost of reasonable. We arrive, we greeted, gave our info and took a seat. Our wait time was reasonable, the staff was friendly & professional. My doggie has a heart murmur, they recommend and X-Ray of her heart and they explained her condition. She needed medications and the Vet Tech went over each medication and informed to bring her back for a follow up. After arriving home, I realized they forgot to give me one of my dogs meds. I immediately called and they said they would give me a credit on my next visit. We returned for the follow up visit we w

Today we had to say goodbye to our 15 yr old cocker spaniel! I just want to thank the sweet caring vet tech( I did not catch her name) long dark hair! She was wonderful and always has been when I bring in pups. Dr. Green was very kind and gentle with our Holly as she was to us. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for the kindness. 💕

I was able to get flea medication for my cats without an appointment. Which was nice considering no vet will see your pet if they have fleas, so how would you ever get them to an appointment if they won’t help provide medication to rid the problem! Very friendly staff!
