Puppy/Dog Grooming-Downtown Dawgz

I'm devastated that I trusted this couple with my 9 week old Golden Doodle/poodle. I only had him for a week. He was so sweet, energetic, loving and so smart. I booked a appt at 7:30 am on 6/7/25 to trim Kenzo nails only. The owner Maria showed me his ears, she said she can clean them up & trim around his behind area. When I arrived to pick Kenzo up, it took a several minutes for her husband to bring him out. He was wrapped in a towel, paws soaked. He was drooling, shaking and his breathing was off. I asked what happened, Maria responded he was just nervous. I immediately took Kenzo home to monitor him. Within seconds he dropped to floor, couldn't stand on his feet at all. The best groomer I believe I've encountered in decades. The owner is so welcoming, passionate, and knowledgeable about her industry. Love seeing a husband and wife team working so well together. And they do big dogs!!!!! YES! and I have a "bully" boss of a dog and she went in fearless like the dog whisperer she is.... but with close to 20 years experience I get it. I'm so glad I found her just when I'm moving to town -I can't believe my good fortune finding an honest, experienced animal loving soul to help me care for my rescues. Customer for as long as I live in the area. Thank you!

My puppy always smells good. Gives great information on how to take care of him in between his baths. Very polite and professional.

Quote on phone was $60.00 for 100lb dog. When arriving was told $80.00 plus another $20.00 for shed shampoo. Now totaling $100.00. My dog weighs exactly 100lbs. This groomer is dishonest, be careful of getting quotes on the phone, most likely it will be higher when arriving!
