Webster Veterinary Clinic

It was very hard for me to choose a vet for my cat Mango (pictured below) as a lot of vet clinics, in my experience, have extremely below-average cat care, choosing to treat cats as small dogs instead of as their own thing with unique needs and health issues, but I am beyond happy with my choice to go to the Webster clinic so far. The staff and Dr. Lewis are always extremely helpful, and have gone above and beyond when answering my questions regarding vaccines, flea and tick treatment, diet etc.. I look forward to continuing to work with them in the years to come. They’re also very good with approving prescriptions for Chewy very quickly so I’ve never had an issue getting medication when needed 💖

Could not find time in their busy schedule to see our dog Niko, who became very ill, very quickly yesterday. Offered my husband an appointment 2 weeks out. Niko was bleeding internally and could not really move any more. (happened in a day) 2 grown men had to carry him into a strange vet hospital - who were beyond kind and compassionate. We euthanized Niko as we were told he was in extreme pain, although he still only wanted to please us and did not really show it. Very little chance for a quality life after this extreme illness. Was told today by the Webster Veterinary receptionist they were sorry but there was no way they could have seen Niko (who had been their patient since he was a puppy) because they were soooo busy they would have been there until midnight. I’d give 100 stars if I could. I was on vacation with my family and had to bring my bunny with me, we tried for weeks to get Truffles to a vet but no one near us was taking new patients or cared after rabbits. He was suffering and would have died at home alone and I would never have wanted that for him, after calling another dozen or so vets in the Rochester area they were the only ones willing to help us put our bunny to rest. The vet and her staff were all so kind and compassionate and made a difficult time “easy” to get through. I’m just glad I got to be there for him in his end. Thank you again for your help!

Dr. Sementa and his staff are truly the best. Their level of care, compassion and willingness to go the extra mile for your pet is wonderful. Dr. Sementa is the reason my 14.5 year old Yorkie (with a liver shunt) has lived such a full life. I am forever grateful to him for always giving me the best medical advice for my dogs and cats.
