Laurelton Bayside Animal Hospital

Absolutely love Laurelton Bayside Animal Hospital! They make sure I understand everything that is going on with my dogs and why. They accommodate for one of my dogs who only like females and let me bring all 3 dogs in at once that way I didnt have to come back. By the end of the visit, all 3 were relaxed, laying on the floor like this!

I will rate 5 stars because I think Laurelton deserves 5 stars overall. However, the last two times I was there (annual for cats and pedicure for dogs) my wait time was over 25 minutes to be seen and an additional 25 minutes to check out. On one of the visits I waited 45 minutes to check out because they forgot about me. Compared to my previous vet, this wait time is phenomenal! But at Laurelton I used to be able to get in within 10 minutes of my appointment and check out within a reasonable amount of time as well. I still highly recommend Laurelton. Wonderful staff, doctors, and techs. Just surprised by the increased wait time.

I don’t usually leave reviews, but after the incredibly positive experience I had at Laurelton Bayside animal hospital today, I feel like I need to. I’m not a usual client at this veterinary practice (I will be from now on though), but I needed to schedule a same day appointment and they happened to have an appointment available. Dr. Chouster was so supportive, knowledgeable, and patient with me and my cat. With most vets I’ve been to, it almost feels like they are in a rush to leave the room and move on to the next client. There was no rushed feeling with Dr. Chouster. He took his time to thoroughly explain ALL of my options, answer all of my questions, and hear my concerns. I called in the morning to get our dog Riley in the same day, if possible. I had to leave a message, and while I didn't get a call back I phoned a second time and was able to get her in later that afternoon. The staff was great! The Vet Tech we had remembered Riley from when she first started at Laurelton... Riley is 10 now and we hadn't been to their office in 4 years. The Vet was kind, gentle, thorough, and reassuring about Riley's diagnosis and her follow-up care. There was no pressure to do anything above and beyond his course of care. A couple meds, rest, and a follow-up appointment in two weeks. Thank you everyone!

Dr. Chouster and the team take fantastic care of my dachshunds. Everyone is always so kind and he makes sure you understand options. The facility is very clean. They are affordable as well. We have been going there for over six years and they have helped in emergency situations.
