Lisa and Mindy were incredibly welcoming. They reached out to the fostering parent right away to set up a visit within 2 days. They let us sit with Tom for as long as we needed to make our decision without any pressure. The cozy environment is just what is needed for all the cats that are housed there. So many, each with such wonderful qualities. Many large rooms for them to play and lounge together. It would have been extremely hard to decide upon a cat if we hadn't already seen Tom on petfinder. Thank you to Wags and Whiskers for the hard work, love and patience you put into caring for these beautiful animals. You really are making a difference.

I’m an avid reader of Google reviews before engaging in any transaction or service with a business. Unfortunately, I wish I had read further beyond the positive reviews for Wags and Whiskers, as I would have seen numerous accounts from adopters who later discovered their cats were sick or had underlying health issues. I adopted Belle (previously named Jade) on 12/29/25. At the time of adoption, I was informed that she had watery eyes and was given an unbranded eye ointment to apply twice daily, with the assumptipn that it should eventually clear up. Shortly after bringing her home, I also noticed frequent sneezing. Out of concern, I took Belle to the vet for a full checkup. I was informed that her eye discharge and sneezing are due to an upper respiratory infection caused by FHV-1 (felin

My husband and I were looking to adopt a kitty, and after reading reviews for shelters and rescues in the area, we decided on Wags and Whiskers—and we are so glad we did! Mindy and Lisa have been exceptional from the moment we inquired, all the way through (and even after) the adoption process. We left with not just one, but two kitties, and we couldn’t be more in love! This cat adoption was an absolutely pleasurable experience. Mindy and Lisa were very communicative and helpful during the whole process. Our kitty is an absolute love and we couldn't be happier with how it all transpired.
