Charlie had TPLO surgery and the entire staff was wonderful. The day of surgery they were so good about communicating with you, answered any questions you had, just overall so compassionate and kind. The office is so clean and SOO accommodating for reactive dogs which was such a breath of fresh air. Bry was the most amazing person i encountered during our therapy she is seriously made to work with animals. She fully embraced Charlie when all he wanted was some love and attention she would stop what she was doing and give him exactly that. I can’t even put into words how i feel about her she’s truly such a great person and someone made for this job. Overall i’m very happy with my experience here and would definitely use them again if/when needed.

We previously used VOMC for knee surgery for our beloved dog, Anna. She required surgery on both knees, and we began with the first procedure, which went very well. Sadly, between her first and second surgeries, she was diagnosed with cancer. This year, with our new pup, Noel, we found ourselves facing knee issues again. Initially, we visited a different orthopedic office in Jacksonville because it was closer. Unfortunately, our experience there was terrible—starting with the very first consultation. Something didn’t feel right. We trusted our instincts and returned to Dr. Ernie at VOMC, and we are so glad we did. VOMC played a huge role in helping our French bulldog get back on her feet after IVDD surgery in early 2025. Rehab after spinal surgery is no small thing, and the team at VOMC treated our Frenchie like she was their own. They were patient, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in her progress every step of the way. Thanks to their work, our Frenchie has recovered to 95% of her original physical ability - something we weren't sure was possible in those early, scary days post-surgery. The veterinarian and vet techs are some of the best people I’ve ever met working in the veterinary field. They know each patient by name and diagnosis, welcome my girl with hugs, kisses, and treats every time, and they never push her past her limit. Each of her treatments are completely customized and tailored to her, but they do not charge extra for this customization. We currently go for aqua therapy, but hope to start regular physical therapy with them as well . It’s a 45 minute drive from Daytona Beach and it is every bit worth the drive even three times a week . I have noticed a huge change in my a loved pet in the six weeks since starting at their practice. Dr. Nicole is the best and I would recommend her to anyone and everyone needing anything orthopedic or mobility for their pet.
