Veterinary Eye Institute Gainesville

I had such a wonderful experience at the VEI Gainesville office. The entire team was incredibly gentle and sweet with my cat, Tabitha, while treating her conjunctivitis. They took great care of her and made her feel comfortable, which meant so much to me. Their first line of treatment worked beautifully. Her eyes are now clear and she is back to being her happy, non-weepy self. The office itself is also very clean, smells nice, and has a beautiful design, which made the visit even more pleasant. I am truly grateful for the care and kindness they showed us and would absolutely recommend them.

The Veterinary Eye Institute was recommended by my vet at Haile Plantation Animal Clinic due to a cornea scratch that had developed into an eye ulcer. I was very nervous about my rat terrier/chihuahua losing his eye. Dr. Berkowski and his staff calmed me with their professional treatment and response to my Noah's condition. Several months later, Noah's eye is fully healed and he is now on a daily ointment to combat his "dry eye" condition. I am very pleased with the treatment and care shown.

The staff and Dr. Berkowski are wonderful with our rescue GSD, who is still timid and unsure of new things. They were patient and took the time to put her at ease. After the exam, she was so comfortable, I believe she would have stayed with them. The exam was very thorough and Dr. Berkowski took the time to explain everything in a clear and concise manner. We will be going back and would recommend this practice without hesitation.

The staff here are very nice and professional. I brought my dog in because he has a sty-like formation on his eye and some cloudiness. Dr. Berkowski conducted my dog's eye exam. He and his assistant handled my high energy (and squirmy) GSD with patience and gentleness. Luckily his eye is healthy and doesn't need surgery, but we got good peace of mind.
