Robin's K9 Lifestyle

Working with Robin over four years has been an incredible experience for both me and my Standard Poodle. We started with her puppy 'board and train' program at her home, which provided the perfect foundation, and we have continued with private lessons ever since. Robin is an awesome person who clearly enjoys working with both dogs and people. Beyond training, she is the only person I trust with my dog when I go on longer trips. Knowing he is boarding in a home environment where his training is upheld and good behavior is promoted—rather than sitting in a kennel—gives me total peace of mind. We cannot thank her enough for everything she’s done for our family!

Always a pleasure and a breeze to board my fur babies with Robin. She's been my go to for more than 10 yrs. I first met her during a foundations class more than 10 yrs ago and she is just a natural with whatever breed of dog from my yellow lab, Great Dane mix to my mini Aussie and German Shepard pups who she was able to recognize behaviors within just seconds. She also knew of the different ways to correct and would offer best corrective recommendations case by case. She treats them like family, like children.

Robin helped us with our rescue pitbull from the shelter. Our dog Maddie was never walked on a leash and was very hard to control. Robin had so much patience with our baby and within 3 visits she was leash walking like a pro. Maddie has now been with us for 15 months and she so enjoys going for her walks and interacts sweetly with other dogs along the way!!!

We had a great experience with Robin and would definitely recommend. Our dog, Boo, did a board-and-train to work on reactive behavior, and we really appreciated how much communication Robin provided while Boo was there. She sent daily updates with helpful how-to videos so we could follow along with the training and have something to refer back to once she came home. She is always responsive to questions (even after Boo came home) and was really thoughtful about our specific needs, which made the whole process feel personalized instead of generic. When we got our dog back, we felt prepared to keep up the training, and we’ve already seen great progress. Robin is very intuitive with dogs. We tried a couple of trainers before finding her. Man, am I glad we did. Our Elmer loves her. And we have learned so much. She rocks! She came to our home for training and we met her with Elmer in a couple of stores. She uses real life situations.
