The best dog training experience i have ever had. For reference, ive had 3 different trainers and none of them have even come close to the difference in my dogs behavior from only 5 training sessions. Sam and Michelle both have incorporated expert advice to working with my dog better but, even more importantly, they showed me in real time that I can have a better relationship with my dog. Not only am I closer than I have ever been with my sweet butterball but shes actually listening to me. I cannot recommend GCA enough.

Sorcha and Michelle were amazing at working with our dog Barley--a 2-year old rescue dog. They are both expert at their craft of service dog training--and also as important, in being patient and thorough in helping us as handlers understand our roles in providing clear direction to our dog. Barley's first plane trips (literally across the world) went totally smoothly because he and we knew exactly what to do--thanks to Gainesville Canine Academy!

Sorcha is so knowledgeable and has a great approach to teaching. She gets right down to business and uses the class time wisely. She provides a good environment for learning and keeps the class size small so she can work individually with each of us as we work to train our dogs. Sometimes her husband comes to assist and he is also very helpful. I would highly recommend her level one obedience class.

Sorcha is amazing! She helped me learn tasks for my dog Luna. Luna was therapy certified prior and we wanted to get her service certified. Sorcha was wonderful and taught us a lot in the time we worked together before we had to move. I was able to practice with Luna all of the foundational skills I took from our sessions.

I highly recommend Gainesville Canine Academy. I hap appointments w both of my dogs individually as they both were in different places in their training. The strategies we learned were easy to carry over to at home training. The learning was turned in to a game so it was enjoyable for all.
