I had a deeply frustrating experience at this "veterinary office". From the moment I arrived, the place felt chaotic and poorly managed. Front desk was goofing off and on her phone, staff disorganized, and no clear communication. The vet was impersonal and rushed through the exam with my pet, barely acknowledging all of his parts like teeth and eyes before moving on. It felt like a conveyor belt of animals rather than a place of true care. When I asked questions, the vet tech seemed unsure and was clearly guessing, which did nothing to reassure me about my pet’s health. What really upset me though besides how they hawk the most expensive insurance option was that they canceled a follow-up appointment without notifying me, apparently because I didn’t call back about lab results. I’m very frustrated with my experience at Vetco. They provided my puppy with a 1-year prescription for Simparica that was based on his weight at the time, but as expected, my puppy quickly outgrew the weight range the prescription was written for. For the past two months, I’ve had to come in monthly just to pick up his medication, which is inconvenient—especially when this medication could easily be shipped to my home with an updated prescription. I asked multiple times for the prescription to be updated to reflect his current weight, and each time I was met with excuses about why they “can’t” do it. I will start off by saying that the only reason why I gave at least a star is because the condition I brought my puppy in for was helped by the treatment plan provided by the vet. Sadly, it does not make up for the other red flags that came up during this first visit and I would not recommend this place to other pet parents. I interacted with a vet technician for most of my visit, which I was fine with. However, went the veterinarian walked in, he barely acknowledged me beyond a simple "hi" and as he was performing the exam started conversing with the vet tech. When a client is paying for your time and expertise, even for 10 minutes, I would have expected a simple explanation of your observations or questions to help guide the observations you would be making as a vet. Horrible! Don’t take your pet here; they don’t value their customers time. I waited close to two hours to be serviced but instead was neglected because my dog wasn’t “sick”. They don’t care if you have an appointment here it’s not prioritized; they literally let people who came after me be serviced before my severely anxious dog & I. The supervisor was rude and absolutely condensing! No help whatsoever and not even an apology. I have reported them to the BBB & made a complaint with petco! All dogs should be attended to the same & professionalism needs an extreme amount of work here. I left, it’s not worth it!

Very strange vet experience. Very slow. Very impersonal - I wanted to speak with the vet himself not the vet techs, they were super nice but why would I not want to speak to the vet while he’s with my cat? Wish I came away from this appt with less questions and more answers, instead I had a high vet bill, I had to negotiate unneeded services off of it & no direction to move in with my cat’s digestive issues. Don’t recommend. 3 stars are only for the 2 vet techs. Very disappointed
