Vetco Total Care Animal Hospital

I got a new puppy and took him to Vetco in Turlock. CA. for his shots and a checkup. The staff was super friendly and very informative. The doctor was thorough and spent some time checking out my new puppy. The whole experience was exceptional. I appreciate the time they took to explain the different plans and programs. I will definitely be returning. The Vetco manager must be exceptional because they have a great team.

Vetco in Turlock has been our go to for our Gypsy and Rocco the last 3 years for everything from vaccines, to yearly visits, to an unexpected surgery! We love Vetco for our 2 pups! They make the process easy and I know our fur babies are being taken care of with love!

I placed my first appointment at Vetco and had a absolutely AWFUL experience. I went to Vetco instead of my usual veterinarian because I had a free first visit voucher. Before the vet even examined my pet my experience was horrible. Receptionist Jess was absolutely terrible, she displayed a absolutely moody behavior since check in. Once i got to the back the vet examined my pet and created a treatment plan. She listed the cost of the treatments WITH the free voucher included which was about $500 dollars. I stated multiple times before heading to the front to pay, that I had a free exam voucher. Once i went back to the front to pay the total was $618 dollars!! Best service from start to finish. Every single staff member loves their job and it shows. A special thank you to Quentin, our nurse for the visit. My pup is extremely anxious with new people, so I expected him to act like a circus clown, but when the nurse (Quentin) came in and took over my pup was in GOOD hands. He even was calm for a needle in his shoulder area! I felt like the entire team listened to my concerns and really were focused on resolving the reason for our visit. 10/10

Staff was friendly, but thats about the only positive I can give. From the start, they put us in a room that wasn’t clean, sprayed it down with us in the room, but only cleaned the counter and not the scale or the rest of the room. They had a price chart in there which we were looking at for their package prices only to be told they’re inaccurate and charge more for vaccines and kitten packages. Online it also listed different price points so it all was very unprofessional and unorganized. The nurse walks in who, while very friendly, started going on about how vaccines at mobile clinics cause cancer and they’ve had to amputate 2 cat’s legs this week. That is NOT how you have a conversation with a client, it sure scared us away! When they weighed him the scale was not tared correctly and w
