I just wanted to come forward with the most honest review about this place. For dealing with the loss of my child hood pet kitty and finding a place to put him down at, going to Monte vista I had a bad experience the vet that I had seen had no sympathy no customer service and just had no emotion talking to me or didn’t care to be there knowing what I was in there for. they quoted me for the cremation and without even taking the actual cremations home it came out too 600$ and with the cremations 700$. I didn’t know what to do I didn’t want my cat to be put down there after what I had experienced. A friend ended up recommending to me to try out canal vet. Hello! My experience at Canal Veterinary Hospital was AMAZING!! Megan, the vet tech was so helpful and friendly that I instantly felt my dog Frankie was in great hands! I’m typically a very protective person over my little pup but the space that was created by not even just her but the his Veterinarian was so safe that I would highly recommend. I’ve had pretty horrific veterinarian experiences in the past due my bulldog passing from a brain hemorrhage and not being able to save him, however these people care. CeeCee (calico cat) and BeeBee (bunny butt), she has no tail, are patients at Canal Veterinary. CeeCee has been having congestion issues and the staff and Doctors have been great! If you’re looking for a vet or new vet, try Canal Veterinary. Ask for Dr. Heather, she’s awesome! Thank you all for taking care of “the girls”.

Bandit absolutely loved her first visit to Canal Veterinary Hospital. Everyone was so nice and very friendly. It was great to watch the staff interact with Bandit. They got down on the floor and played with her which we thought was AWESOME. This is our new Vet for all our dogs and cats.

I truly appreciated the doctor coming out to speak to me about our new little addition puppy. I purchased a adorable female pomerania. They care very much about the pets they see everyday. We absolutely recommend to everyone. Shiloh is growing up very fast. Just received her rabies shot and license. Now we are moving to Idaho from California.
