VetCheck Pet Urgent Care Center Bloomington

I am a college student and owner of a Cat. He got into some Lillies that were extremely toxic to him and I rushed him to the closest urgent vet . I’m super grateful we have one in Bloomington. I was able to get in fast and everyone was kind and accommodating to my needs . I was of course hysterical but they were able to work through that and make sure my cat was taken care of . In short I would Recommend taking your pet here in emergency situations , just know with any emergency clinic it’s going to be pricey. They were very upfront about cost and were able to work with me when I asked questions. They let me spend ample time with my cat while he was hospitalized there for a few nights and there was pretty good communication. Dr. Tyler was the vet in charge of my cat and I am very grateful

My 9 week old pup is the gray one in the pictures below. This so called EMERGENCY VET is a JOKE. On November 16, 2025 my 9 week old puppy was limp , Tongue hanging out of her mouth, non responsive, and barely breathing. I called them at 7:47 pm to tell them the situation and that that I was 2 mins away, for them to tell me No we close in 13 minutes. I continued on my way there, arriving at 7:53 pm they grabbed her from me took her to the back for around 10 minutes. The nurse came out asked me a few questions regarding the situation that may have happened. She then returned to the back where my 9 week old puppy was brought back to me in the same Condition she arrived in. SMH..... The front desk assistant then directed me to Indianapolis emergency vet. I was really saddened by our experience here the other day. Our sweet dog was suffering a lot on Sunday and wouldn’t be able to make the drive to Indy. We decided it was best to take him to rest here in Bloomington. We had called beforehand and they told us the cost would be around $140 to put him to sleep. It made us really nervous that they took my screaming dog away to another room and didn’t tell us what they were going to do with him. Afterwards, they took us into a room where they had sedated him and we discussed the payment and told us the lowest price would be around 530 dollars. I went in BECAUSE the only thing she had an appetite for is spam. I have done my due diiligence seeking aid for her and you belittle me for that? I am well aware of what she eats and how much and have been for seven years. How dare you question me after paying you 1800 dollars for no answer and a few cans of food she would not eat.
