Mannered Mutts Training LLC

Mannered Mutts has been training both of our dogs. Since they were puppies. My youngest German Shepard developed aggression when he was under a year old, and after a few weeks of board and training, he came back a better and well trained dog. She (Jillian) also educated me on how to confidently deal with his behavior confidently. While I took a long vacation instead of just boarding them, I decided to have them boarded and trained with Mannerer Mutts for a month, and my main goal was bettering the relationship of my two dogs. They were amazing. I got regular reports (every other day) with pictures and videos. It was great and so worth it, I never worried about my dogs being unhappy. Our female German Shepherd mix Binne is a year old. She is sweet, smart, loves people too much and is *very* energetic. After a month at Mannered Mutts she is still sweet, smart, loving and energetic but now she listens. We still need to work with her but now we know how. We loved our experience with the team at Mannered Mutts, are extremely happy with the progress Binne has made and plan to send her for future refreshers. Highly recommended!

Excellent team of trainers who will work with any dog to help them become their best selves. We put our blue heeler mix puppy in their care for 5 weeks of day training, and she has learned so much! She's gone from being a bitey little nightmare to knowing how to sit until she's released, walk on a leash (including heel), wait to eat her dinner right in front of her til she's released, get her nails trimmed, and more. You have to be willing to put in the work yourself and continue using all the techniques once training is done. But if you've got the money, it's highly worth it. I'm glad we went with day training rather than individual lessons, where we would have had to do most of the work ourselves and definitely wouldn't have helped June progress as much.

My one year old German Shorthair Pointer, Heidi, is a handful, but anybody who loves GSP’s knows up front that the breed is sweet, cuddly, and very smart but a little crazy. She loved going to Mannered Mutts every morning and responded real well to the training. She listens to me and obeys commands so much better. She’s still a busy girl, but I invested in a few extra days of training to use later as needed. I have boarded her there twice and because she knows the staff she’s very comfortable. I highly recommend Mannered Mutts for training and/or boarding.

Bear has been going to “school” for three weeks. She gets so excited. Her training has been superb! Parents have weekly training which is so helpful. All of our trainers are very kind and compassionate. Our weekly report cards are appreciated. I can’t recommend them enough!
