After my kitty, Goose, got into my Prozac, I was completely panicking. I walked into VEG at around 6 in the morning absolutely freaking out, and the staff made me feel welcomed the entire time. They quickly got started with his treatment while allowing me to be by his side and explaining everything to me every step of the way. When we got a room for our 8 hour stay, it had comfortable couches and low-lighting, and they allowed me to bring everything I needed from home, ensuring that Goose and I were as comfortable as possible during this stressful situation. If staying by your pet’s side during treatment is important to you (and I assume it is), then I definitely recommend VEG. They treated my baby like he was their own pet, and I can’t appreciate them more :)
Fergus, our 15 year old terrier mutt, was in pain and we rushed to VEG. The staff immediately surrounded him and began work. It was a relief to be there in the room with him. He and I locked eyes and I could tell he was comforted by me being by his side. The vet and staff asked questions, explained why they were asking those questions, and kept us informed of everything step by step. Sadly, the scan revealed cancer and blood clots. We made the heavy choice to let him go. They offered compassion and gave us precious last moments with our boy in a quiet room. Making these calls and saying goodbye is the hardest thing a pet owner can do. Though we lost our beloved companion of 15 years, VEG staff made the experience as best as such a tragedy could be. Thank you for your care and sympathy t
I would give this facility zero stars if that were an option. On 12/30/2025, my perfectly healthy, spayed, fully vaccinated, two-year-old dog died less than 24 hours after undergoing what was described to us as a “non-invasive” endoscopic procedure at this facility. She was discharged shortly after waking from anesthesia, had her feeding tube removed, and was sent home. Within hours, she deteriorated rapidly, became septic, and ultimately died. Timeline of Events: Sunday, 12/28 (just after midnight): We arrived at VEG ER where X-rays confirmed a pacifier in her stomach. Vomiting was induced unsuccessfully. Repeat X-rays confirmed the object remained in the stomach. We were advised she would likely pass it on her own due to her size and were instructed to follow up with our regular veter
I cannot say enough good things about them. My French had to have an emergency c section and they took such great care of her. And us! The are caring and compassionate people and sincerely love animals. I highly recommend them!!
Our 7 year old Mini Aussie Doodle was found unresponsive by us the week before Christmas. Our vet instructed us to go to VEG ER. The second we entered the door they saw us and came running shouting “CODE”! They worked hard to save our sweet baby but unfortunately, he didn’t make it. In reality, we knew he was gone before we arrived, but they tried and explained every step of the way what was happening. The staff was so kind, gentle and empathetic. A week or so later we received a sympathy card( not just signatures, but thoughtful notes from every staff member). The most amazing part was they sent paw and nose prints of our little Bodhi. We have thousands of pictures, but something about seeing the little furs around the nose print made it so real for all of us…we could “see” his little fa
