I've been bringing my four dogs to Good Dog Vet at East Cobb since it opened in 2024, after previously visiting their West Cobb location. What drew me to GDV is their wellness plan model—bundled preventative care with helpful reminders for routine maintenance like annual dentals and screenings. With four dogs, these reminders are invaluable! The wellness plans are reasonably priced whether you pay monthly or upfront. For any services outside the plan, GDV provides itemized care estimates before proceeding, giving me the chance to ask questions or adjust timing if needed. They never push unnecessary services and are genuinely thoughtful about costs—I trust them with both my dogs and my budget. Most importantly, the quality of care is exceptional. Dr. Alvey and her team are the embodiment of angels. Recently, I had to say goodbye to my sweet nutter butter. She meant the world to me. I was so scared and lost and angry, all the emotions one will go through in their pets final moments. I only trusted Dr. Alvey and her team to help with Haley's final moments. They had already taken such amazing care of her this year and helped me make sure she was comfortable during her final months. We love Good Dog Veterinary Care East Cobb! The staff is always so friendly, caring, and patient with my (now senior) dog, Meatball. You can really tell they love what they do and treat every pet like their own. The clinic is spotless and welcoming, and I always feel confident that Meatball is in great hands. I just started taking my dog Stella here and so far everyone has been so beyond kind and amazing! I love how personable the entire staff is, and I truly feel like they go above and beyond to show how much they care! I cannot wait to continue taking my pup here and meeting the rest of the staff!
