VEG ER for Pets

My 15 year old Pitbull/Pug Daisy had a violent grand mal seizure and had never before had seizures, I had to get her seen and all emergency vets near me 1. Had hours long waits and 2. Would not allow me to go back with her to get checked out…. Thank God one of them reccommended VEG, I drove to federal way and as soon as I got to the door both I and my baby girl were tended to and treated with the UTMOST care and respect. They ran tests on my baby and our worst nightmare was coming true before our eyes… she was in end stage liver failure and the options were not good. She was going to continue to decline and the grand mal seizures would continue and get worse. We had to make the gut wrenching decision that no Dog Mama ever wants to make. We thought since she was so trusting and comfortable

Amazing! Came in around 3am on a Saturday night because my small chihuahua dog was attacked by a large 50lb dog and had a huge chunk of his neck bitten off, he was treated promptly and the team was extremely caring, we were even able to watch the surgery and talk to our pup while he was under anesthesia.. 100% would recommend this team! they were professional and explained everything to us and showed our dog the best care. In just two hours surgery was done and we were out by 5am.

This was my first visit of VEG ER, and even though my pup's situation wasn’t as dire as originally thought (Thank God)- the staff here were simply amazing. It didnt take long to see that everyone here loves animals, their warm nature and eagerness to help was not only appreciated, but also helped calm me down inside who was pretty scared for my dog. This location wasn’t here a few years ago, but knowing that there is an animal ER nearby that is full with passionate veterinarians makes me feel so much better. No one wants anything horrible to happen to their babies, and I’m very lucky my pup's situation wasn’t as bad as it had originally seemed- but if a day does come where it is more dire, I’m bringing her here. Everyone was great. My dad was immediately greeted at the door. They were prepared to treat Sophie with the info I provided online. Dr Kayla Burnham was amazing. Truly excellent service. My dad was instantly calmed by their capable and friendly demeanor. Saved my bunny from a GI stasis scare. Just as an fyi, they don’t have the tools for back molar teeth issues apparently, but they still provided excellent care. IV, pain meds, and appetite stimulant amongst other stuff to help my bun start munching on food a couple hours later :)

We lost our Ruckus on 1/1/26 from a seizure/s which led to pneumonia. He suffered for 3 days, in and out of the ER. It was the worst thing to watch your pup dying and not be able to do anything to make him better. These VEG Drs (Dr D and Dr Shay) and so many of the staff worked so hard to try make him better. It meant so much to our family to know and see how hard they worked, all the loving care they gave to Ruck and all the support we got from all of them. They were so caring, professional and knowledgable . Our dog’s well being is what they focused on and they were so honest when they couldn't help him anymore, that meant a lot to us.
