When times are tough, this animal hospital really knows how to pull through and show the humanity when losing a loved one. I had to say goodbye to my 13 year old kitty last month, and I really didn’t know what to expect. It was my first time dealing with end of life care for a pet as an adult. The office and their receptionists, techs, nurses, and the two doctors who helped me were all incredible, empathic, and caring. Sitting with people who are grieving is a vast skill set, as I know from my career as a social worker - and so experiencing the genuine care that I received felt like a blessing I did not expect.
