Cascade Veterinary Hospital

I recently visited this clinic out of concern for my grandparents’ senior dog and had a very uncomfortable experience. We brought in a photo of the dog’s eye to ask a question at the front desk. The desk staff took the image to the veterinarian to see whether she had time or could offer guidance. The response from the doctor—though not directed at me was extremely loud, emotionally charged, and directed at the front desk staff. She repeatedly stated that she had already had a tense, long day and appeared upset by the mere audacity of being asked whether she had time to address our concern. I didn’t know if she was upset at the lady or this was purely just a meltdown, binary, reactive behavior stemming from exhaust? Recently brought my two black kitties here. They were great! The building itself is very clean. The staff are friendly and helpful. One of my cats has had bad vet experiences and I was nervous about bringing him in. The staff helped me get him the meds he needed to be calm, and even called him a 'gentleman' when it was over. The price for exams, meds, and vaccines was reasonable.

I’m so thankful for everyone at Cascade, especially Dr Teberg, and the loving care they gave to my sweet bulldog, Molly, throughout her entire life. From puppyhood to her senior years, they were there for every milestone, question, and every moment of care with kindness and genuine love for her. After going here for so many years, this clinic truly feels like family to me. I can’t imagine going anywhere else. I’m a client for life and I’m so grateful to have found a team that loves animals and their humans the way they do.

This place is a hidden gem behind Federal Way mall. Kind and friendly staff and doctor. They knew how to approach my dog, who, while sweet to everyone, turns reactive when touched or examined. We love it there and tell all our friends about it.

They're happy to take your money for years until a serious issue arises. Now that our family dog is recently struggling with vision issues, they don't want to help. Zero interest. Zero compassion. They even hung up the phone on us mid-sentence when they called us at around 5:00pm, near closing time. They must've had something more important to do than help an older animal in distress. As other reviews have suggested, it seems this place is all about generating revenue. Our old girl must not be a worthwhile revenue stream for them anymore at her age. Bottom line, find somewhere else to bring your fur-babies for help. This place is absolutely the worst, right when you need them the most.
