VCA All About Pets Animal Hospital

So far so good! I went I for just an initial puppy appointment. I do however find it very frustrating that I signed up for their VCA CareClub, with an initiation fee of $49.99, that would have been waived had I signed up online or via the app. It’s disappointing that none of the staff informed me of this when I was pitched the careclub membership perks and fees. We’ll see how the year goes but that should be waived for those that sign up in person on the spot, or at least to be informed we can save money doing this on the app. Seems like a deceptive start.

I brought my rabbit Clara to Dr. Kokes for 11+ years. For 11 years, she never tried to sell me on any meds/procedures I didn't actually need for Clara. She was wonderful at explaining things to me when something was needed (I always went into every appointment with 1,000+ questions). During Clara's last 4mo of life, I was a mess. I mean... A MESS! CUCKOO FOR COCOA PUFFS! Dr. Kokes answered every call, every question, every emergency visit, and was basically my therapist those last 4 months. It's quite embarrassing to look back on, but hey, our pets are our children, and she understood that.

I have taken my two cats and two dogs here for about 3 years now. The staff is always so nice, welcoming, patient, and respectful. They are very upfront and honest about pricing and treatment plan options and are great about breaking things down and talking through them with you. They also recently renovated their whole space and it is very nice!! Highly recommend!

They took great care of our pups. However service was best with our first dog. We took our second dog in for a heat worm test like we did our first dog and then when we asked for the free first dose of simparica they didn't want to give it like they gave freely to our first dog. They also couldn't give us the link to purchase the product like they did for our first dog. Left without a resolution saying they didn't know the link address. Not sure if those working the 2nd time were less in the know or what...

When my cat, Sofi Belle, had an urgent issue - they were able to see her even though they were short-handed. After 3 weeks of trying to stabilize her unsuccessfully, I made the decision to put her to sleep. The whole time the vets, lab, and staff were so caring, even at the end! They were able to get me in and get her seen and cared for as needed. I very much appreciate all of them. In the past I had seen Dr. Kokes, so I know she is excellent. These last 3 weeks we had seen Dr. Sepulveda, also excellent care and follow-up.
