Golden Valley Animal Hospital

Brought my grand pup for the first time today. We had a wonderful experience. Ease of appointment setting online, verifying appointment with Bailey's Pawrent was great. I appreciate they gave me prices up front as I was able to prepare. Signage is great, location is a nice tucked away, quick walk from the covered parking lot. Ease of check in was great, again communicated prices & took thorough notes. All the staff was so friendly and the vet we saw was kind and gentle. At no point did she try to "sell" us on anything, made us feel very comfortable. The lobby and rooms were very clean. Affordable and a nice facility. Thank you.

Yesterday our dog was injured by another dog. She had puncture wounds and a cut on her ear. She needed immediate medical attention. When I called our vet (Golden Valley Animal Hospital) they refused to get her in. I’m astonished that routine check up or vaccination appointments were more important to them than an injured dog. I did find a vet that was able to put her under and stitch her up. The folks at Golden Valley Animal Hospital may be qualified, but they sure don’t care about an animal in pain.

We've taken our cats here for years. Staff always answer our questions and show love and care for our pets. They spend a lot of time with us to answer our questions and concerns. Great vet practice!

Very nice people. Hufflepuffs and Ravenclaws. Organized and well-run. They don't keep me waiting, yet they don't make me feel rushed. On one occasion, the vet personally came out to apologize that she was running behind and to let me know she was almost done. That goes a long way. Vets are always expensive--it's kind of unavoidable--but so far I haven't been surprised, and I've spent considerable time and money at a few other vets depending on where I was living at the time.

We started coming in 2019 since they see guinea pigs. In 2021, our very elderly munchkin cat was showing sudden drastic signs of decline. Since COVID our current "cat vet" was very hard to get an appointment in, we decided to go to our "guinea pig vet". They were amazing in helping make the end of life decision. They suggested to use a home euthanasia service as it was around the holidays on a weekend. Shortly after the passing of our elderly cat, we got a new young adult Ragdoll Munchkin cat which they are amazing at answering my questions. I plan on bringing a new purebred ragdoll kitten in a couple months to our household and they will see him as well. They answer all my questions and I'm sure they are very busy.
