Valley Veterinary Hospital

We have been going to this practice for over 25 years and they have seen us through 5 dogs and 6 cats. Recently Dr. Dobbins performed surgery on a mass on my dog's foot that proved benign. She and the whole staff have always been incredibly professional, helpful and sympathetic. We have gone to them for new pet appointments, yearly check ups, emergencies, and when we have had to put pets down. I trust them.

So grateful to have this wonderful team taking care of my 4 senior dogs! They take the time to investigate and learn everything they can about our pets. We never feel rushed and no question is ever treated as stupid or dismissed. The entire staff is friendly and helpful. The one time my daughter was late, they were concerned and not punitive. She’d tripped over the dog’s leash and fell causing the delay. They offered her some gauze and kind words when she arrived with bloodied hands and knees. We’re almost always on time. Maybe being late to appointments at our old practice was because we were met with such indifferent hostility for not keeping on their 15 min per visit schedule. Valley Vet takes the time necessary to treat your pet not worried with rushing you out the door.

My husband and I love Dr. Shreiber and his staff. They are so kind! You can clearly tell they love and want to take care of our pets. They have taken care of our two dogs, Callie & Sydney, since they were puppies and I wouldn’t ever consider going anywhere else. Our girl Sydney unfortunately loves to eat things and has had two surgeries now to remove foreign objects. Both times were so scary, but we knew our girl was in good hands. Dr. Shreiber treated Sydney like she was his own! We love Valley Forge Veterinary Hospital and highly recommend them!

Dr. Dobbins performed one surgery on my dog that left him bleeding for a week. She did a second surgery to fix her first “job” and my dog died 3 days later. I’ve asked for an owner to call me since Monday February 3rd. I have not heard from anyone. This place took my dog from me and wants to assume to responsibility. Oh and they had no problem charging for two surgeries.

This review is not a reflection of the primary vet care that this facility offers, but specifically for dog boarding. We boarded our Shiba Inu for the first time here after several prior vet appointments. The location was convenient and we liked that the vet hospital offered boarding services, etc all in one. We boarded our dog for 4 nights, and not once did we receive any texts/emails/portal notifications with updates on how she was doing. Putting aside the fact that she was there for several days and it seems common practice to update the owners at least semi-frequently, we paid money for this service that included the promise of updates. Beyond feeling we didn't get our money's worth, we also have zero idea how she was evaluated for group play, etc. This was extremely frustrating as she
