Unleashed in Evanston

I just completed a training course (No Nuisance) with my pup and really enjoyed the experience with Unleashed! They have an abundance of training courses available and helped point me in right direction based on my and my pup's needs. Once in the class, the instructor Vanessa was so helpful in talking the class through some of the most disruptive pup behaviors, and how we, as owners, can react and train to better help our dogs. She had extreme patience with the pups actions and all owner questions. I will be looking for more opportunities to get my pup into training at Unleashed!

I took our shelter puppy to an Unleashed dog training class. They are very attentive to dogs and have a nice indoor and outdoor space (if your dog needs a bathroom break). There are two locations in Evanston so pay attention to the class location. Bring treats and a hungry dog

Vanessa's Puppy Kindergarten class was outstanding. She is a knowledgable, energetic, and fun trainer for the dogs, and an excellent teacher for the humans. We learned so much at every class - it's clear that she has a wealth of expertise and insight to share. Highly recommend this class for new puppy owners!

Vanessa is the best trainer! She managed from puppy to adult plus 2 dogs who didn't care for each other while successfully training us.

For the past five weeks I had enrolled my four-year-old dog, Teddy, in Vanessa Batista's "No Nuisance " class at Unleashed. I was a bit apprehensive at first, because T. is anxious in unfamiliar situations, but from the start, Vanessa was able to create an upbeat and all-excepting atmosphere that put everyone at ease. Vanessa did not only show us how to teach our dogs reliable behaviors such as recall, leave it, stay, and heel, but also gave each individual owner instant feedback regarding behavioral issues that their dogs exhibited. I gained invaluable insight into my and other dog's behavior, the expectations we can have from our dogs, and the solutions that are available to us.
