Review written 3/06/2026. They are very professional and have wonderfully detailed manual for cat fosters. From the moment of foster application onward they have been thorough and responsive. They really care and it’s an honor to be part of this organization.

I have both volunteered and adopted from paws and claws and both were a wonderful experience!! I went to an adoption event and was able to take my girls home the same day, which was amazing! Ashlynn and the people behind P&C are amazing and care about the people who walk in the door as much as they care about the cats. the people are welcoming and it's awesome to be around people who share the same kind of love for cats and community as you. come in to pet cats, leave with friends! :)

I can’t say enough about Paws and Claws! I got my adorable kitties there and I couldn’t have been happier with my all around experience! They are wonderful to their pets and make you feel at home with no pressure at all to adopt! They also make sure that you know that once a cat is part of the Paws & Claws family they’re family for life and if you for any reason need to bring them back their doors are always open! That alone made me feel like they truly cared about their furry friends! From a clean and loving environment to an active addition to the local community, Paws and Claws is a must visit! Don’t miss their cuddle cat hours! For $15 you can cuddle these absolutely ADORABLE furry friends!

What a wonderful place, filled with amazing people and adorable cats! If you’re considering adopting a cat, becoming a foster parent, or volunteering, you must check out this incredible rescue. After the loss of my beloved cat, I felt like my world had come crashing down, but Paws and Claws Cat Rescue helped me find my new kitty. I wasn’t sure if I could ever open my heart to another cat, but PCCR made that possible. Though it’s only been a short time since the adoption, I’ve already fallen head over heels for our new cuddle bug. Thank you for making this a reality ❤️

I LOVE this place. The team does an amazing job across the board. From rescuing, to following up with foster families on cats health, appointments, updates, and matching cats to families for adoption ! Very well organized. I am not one to give compliments easily and I am impressed with Paws and Claws in Evanston. I can’t say enough about their fabulous work and dedication. It gives me great satisfaction to take in a cat who is scared or shy and see them change over the course of a few weeks.
