UF Veterinary Hospital at WEC

I called my vet this morning. They told me they couldn't get my cat in till Tuesday. So I looked up UF vet near me. I called and Pam we very helpful. She asked when they could expect me and took my information. She even told me what the initial fees were going to be. While it was all the way out in WEC (World Equestrian Center). It was worth the drive. They staff was nice and very informative. They came out and talked to me. They explained everything they were doing. They even allowed us to stay in an exam room so I could continue working remotely and help my customers. It was a great experience. It was also clean and well-maintained. There were no strong pet odors either! One thing to keep in mind is that the open spaciousness of the waiting area does allow for the amplification of a dog

Let em tell you about my experience today. My dog was having issues last night and this morning I called this office at 8:30. They asked at what time I’d be coming by and I suggested 10am and was told that they would inform the vet. I got there at 10 am the front desk checked us in and weighed my dog and told us there may be a little wait. By 11:30 am the waiting room was cleared out and 12 pm all of the rooms were cleared out. As I watched DoorDash come in and out at 12:55 I asked if I was going to be seen within the next 5 minutes to which I was told that they are working on x-rays and probably not. After this disrespect I told them that I am leaving and that it’s been 3 hours and I will be finding a new vet. This use to be where I took all my animals…never again, never will I be d

I’m disappointed and disgusted with the care from the small animal side. My poor dog went almost three months and three vet visits before I had enough and got a second opinion. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR, FIND A SMALL LOCAL ANIMAL HOSPITAL OR CLINIC!!! I wouldn’t send my worst enemy here. It may look nice and clean but they do not care and will guess till no end when your dog presents with extreme obvious symptoms.

Was a great experience bringing my american bully for a check up and yearly Vaccinations. The vet & techs were very friendly and loved on my pup and made her feel comfortable. Definitely going to check out their grooming and boarding services in the near future.
