Paws and Claws Pet Resort

My husband and I recently had the pleasure of boarding our senior dachshund at Paws and Claws, and we can't speak highly enough about the exceptional care and service we received! From the moment we arrived, the staff was welcoming and attentive, making both us and our dog feel right at home. They took the time to understand our dachshund's specific needs, especially considering his senior status. The facility was clean, safe, and well-maintained, with plenty of comfortable spaces for him to relax and play. We loved that they provided individualized care and attention, ensuring he received his medications on time and enjoyed his favorite activities. UPDATE 9/13/25: After unscheduled delays, Melissa couldn't be more accommodating. Our 3 babies ended up staying 28 days. They sent pictures every other day. Emailed updates constantly. Treated our fur babies as their own. We truly feel lucky to have found these people. Bailey, Melissa's daughter and second in command, truly loves our dog family. We've found OUR SECOND home, for our pets. Taking great care of our fur babies.

The front room was beautifully decorated for the holiday's . Ms Melissa provided me with valuable guidance on the correct daily food amount for Coco., which I appreciated . The price was resonable , and I was relieved to know that Ms. Melissa was available to care for fur babies during the holidays. When I picked up Coco after Thanksgiving , I was pleased to find that Ms. Melissa had fitted Coco with a suitable harness and leash. I was particularly impressed by the vest, which had a convenient handle that allowed me to hold onto Coco securely. I had never seen one like it before. I

I put my cat, Louie, in boarding here for the duration of my trip and I can tell he had a great time; he came home very calm and clean. The staff provides you with a “report card” for your pet which is so thoughtful and sweet as well. He even got Christmas dinner! The price was fair and the staff are friendly. I highly recommend for your fur baby.

One of the best experiences for my dogs that I have ever encountered. Melissa and her staff took such great one on one care of my boys. They came home so happy and had a wonderful time. Thank you Melissa! I highly recommend Paws and Claws.
