Extremely disappointed. My dog had gotten attacked by another dog. When i brought her into the vet they did get her in quickly i will say. however when they told me the options to help her it was mainly about money. she had multiple gashed out and stitched the smallest gash. “to save money” they put bandages on her wounds and told me i needed to come back every day for the next week to change them which would cost $200-$300 the next morning i made an appointment with a different vet and they took the bandages out and properly stitched her wounds and charged me less then $350. i didn’t need to come for bandage changes because they put stitches in. These people will do the absolute bare minimum to charge the maximum. Given she had a very long day and just came off anesthesia attached are pic

Took my pomsky puppy up here for an emergency because he got one of my phentermine pills and partially ingested it. Everyone on the staff was super helpful and caring. He had to spend the night to be monitored and the girls all loved on him all night. My dog has separation anxiety so I was super appreciative when the vet told me she would go love on him or take him out when he was crying. He’s is also not crate trained so that was another concern for me besides the obvious of the side effects of what he may have ate. They had him vomit within the hour of ingesting it and had him on IVs and a catheter. They worked closely with the animal poison control as well to help him. While it was expensive for the overnight visit/ hospital stay compared to a normal vet visit, it ended up being less th

Our dog Scooby accidentally got into some alfalfa pellets the other night and after watching him for a bit he became bloated and uncomfortable so we rushed him to UF. Everyone from the front staff to the vet tech to the vet herself was great. The vet gave us a few options for what to do and I asked her opinion (which was to induce vomitting) so we did. She then let us know she was glad we did that because turns out Scooby had ingested way more alfalfa than we thought! After that they watched him for a bit then let us know what to keep an eye for over the next couple days. Scooby was definitely not feeling super but easily 100x better than when we brought him in and he was back to himself the next day and was able to celebrate his 9th birthday with some treats! For a middle of the night eme

We are very pleased with the service we received at UF in Ocala. We were treated like family and received the results of my beloved pet Rockella fair quickly. Understanding her diagnosis was grim our Rockella was sedated to reduce her pain. We were taken to a dim room with soft music where we could mourn our beloved Rockella who quietly passed in our arms and our children were able to say their goodbyes. Thank you UF.

The staff were helpful, patient, and professional. The doctor was quick to absorb and understand our cat's complicated health history and treated us and our cat with professionalism and compassion. They did a lot for a very sick kitty. Thank you UF Pet!
