This man is a charlatan. He is extremely rude, confrontational and arrogant. We adopted a rescue a few months ago and really wanted it to work out. Sadly, the dog had some behaviors that were unacceptable in a house with children. We contacted the Rescue and they told us Matt was going to pick the dog up. When he arrived, he asked about what had happened to lead us to our decision. When we told him, he proceeded to ask us why we didn’t do things differently and questioned our whole perception on being dog owners. Then he told us that ‘I’ was the reason the whole situation went wrong. I’ve owned dogs.. I work with people. This guy just wanted to be confrontational when I wasn’t having his BS. Matt is THE BEST dog behavioral trainer!!! The “Dogfather” title is very fitting as he helped transform our anxious and at times aggressive dog into a calm, peaceful dog that we no longer have to worry about with our small children, and he even managed this in a relatively short amount of time! Matt is all about building the relationship with and between one’s dogs, and his kind and respectful approach really works. Our three dogs are even older and they picked up everything very fast with his training all of us. He also had the best energy, he makes you feel at ease and he also is very honest and that’s why it works. We even have changed our parenting for the better as a result. It’s been one of the best purchases we have EVER made, and we understand why he came so highly recommended.

My pack of five dachshunds (small dogs — big attitudes) had gone from being best friends and cuddle buddies to angry aggressive beasts that were fighting and biting each other and ME!! I learned that they were looking to me to be a better parent and leader which would help us to restore peace within the pack. On our first session, Matt had them (and me) successfully doing a pause/wait at the door before being released outside instead of barreling out the door like a band of banshees. By the second visit, Matt had calmed my fighting boys and set them on a path to be cordial again. Matt and his team are wonderful and exceptional dog trainer. They guided us on how to interact and act around my dog. With their teaching, it give me a better understanding between our family and the dog, setting the foundation for a lifelong bond built on trust and respect.

I was so nervous about boarding our dogs and Michelle made the process so easy. We got to meet the dog father ahead of time and our nervous scared dog felt comfortable right away. I was so impressed with their knowledge and experience. It made our trip so much better knowing our babies were in good hands. Thank you so much.
