The Paw Wash

Stay away from The Paw Wash in Painesville 🐾 Nothing makes me more upset than companies who do not do right by their customers when they are in the wrong ! Mistakes happen, but make it right when they do. I dropped Link off for a groom on Monday and when I picked him up the groomer had mentioned they got some soap in his eyes and I could flush his eyes when I got home if they were bothering him. I paid for the groom and tipped as I always do. When I got home and looked at him I realized his eyes were in really bad shape! They were bright red/ blood shot and he wouldn’t open his eyes for the entire evening because he was in pain. I flushed them but nothing worked. He was miserable the entire 1.5 days until I got him to the vet. I went to the vet to make sure real damage wasn’t done to

Brooke is THE BEST! We went through a couple groomers for our golden doodle, many who wanted to shave her. Brooke listens to our concerns & requests, & does an amazing job. 10/10 recommend!

Had such a positive experience! Our chow chow, Lady is very nervous and uneasy around other people and they took such great care of her! I was super nervous as this was her first time being professionally groomed and how she would act, but she was super happy and looks AMAZING! We booked our next appointment before we left, 10/10 recommend, Perry is great!!

One thing about pups—if you're lucky, they grow old. My dogs have been going to this groomer for years. The cuts weren't always perfect, but they were treated with care, and that mattered most. They’re rescues, and change is hard for them. So to now be turned away simply because they’ve aged and require medication for conditions beyond our control feels incredibly unfair. If a vet has cleared them, as the salon requested, I don't understand the refusal. While I recognize the importance of safety, it’s heartbreaking to be rejected at a time when they need gentle care the most. In hindsight, maybe it’s better they’re somewhere they’re truly wanted. But caring for an aging pet is already challenging—please don’t make it harder with unnecessary barriers. I really hope Morgan understands for

We have taken our 8 month old puppy to the Paw Wash twice now. Reasonably priced & very friendly staff! We have loved the grooming results each time, and can tell by the way he reacts to the staff that they treat him well. We go a little out of our way to go here, but we wouldn't go anywhere else at this point. :)
