Lake County Dog Shelter

Had an amazing experience visiting and adopting a super cute and anxious boy (2 1/2 yo) he was overly happy to have a new home and was welcomed by everyone! Highly recommended this place if you’re looking to adopt a new furry family member!🐶🐕

I took my dogs to the agility play yard for the first time, and they had lots of fun! I would have given 5 stars, but the water wasn't turned on, and there were no poop bags available!

Our homeschool co-op went on a tour of the facility. The dog warden was kid-friendly, interactive, and shared many tips about sheltering/adopting dogs. We had a great time.

Went to the dog park here and our furbaby loves it so much! The people are always so friendly theres lots of space and 2 gated areas! Theres a few agility tunnels and ramps also too! This is our current favorite one to go to and bonus bc its close to home too! It can be busier sometimes on warmer weather days but thats to be expected but there was still plenty of space for everyone to have their own space to play with their dogs! Theres also 2 tables at opposite ends you can use to sit at and for your belongings! Its well maintained area and everyone always picks up after their pets anytime we have been there!

I love lake county dog shelter my dog that I love so much and was devastated my dog was found a week later they held her for a week took great care of her and treated so good bless there hearts. I 100% recommend lake county dog shelter and the lady at the window was so very nice and so very helpful God bless them all.
